Job Description

Wireless Account Manager

We are seeking an experienced and driven Wireless Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven background working with major wireless carriers such as Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, and AT&T, and will play a critical role in managing customer relationships throughout both the pre- and post-sales lifecycle. Your goal will be to enhance customer satisfaction, drive retention, and identify opportunities for growth.

You should already have a strong reputation and trusted relationships with key stakeholders—from mid-level managers to senior executives—within the wireless telecom industry.

This role blends strategic account management with tactical customer support and requires a high level of business acumen, interpersonal skills, and adaptability. You'll thrive in a hybrid work environment, balancing office-based collaboration with on-site client engagement.

You have an established reputation with major wireless carriers from middle management to senior executives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for newly onboarded clients, ensuring a seamless handoff from sales to account management.

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with decision-makers and influencers at customer organizations.

  • Conduct regular check-ins, business reviews, and strategic conversations to assess satisfaction and uncover new opportunities.

  • Proactively resolve customer issues by working cross-functionally with internal teams.

  • Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.

  • Monitor account performance metrics and implement action plans for continuous improvement.

  • Manage contract renewals and negotiate terms to ensure long-term client retention.

  • Collaborate closely with Business Development and Operations teams to align on account strategies and service execution.

  • Facilitate smooth communication between clients and internal departments to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction.

  • Participate in account planning sessions and strategic review meetings.

  • Travel to client sites as needed for in-person relationship building and account support.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, client success, or customer-facing roles—preferably in the telecommunications industry.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting Verizon, T-Mobile, or AT&T accounts.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM/account management tools.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, including the ability to engage with C-level executives.

  • Track record of successfully managing complex accounts and driving revenue growth.

  • Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, as needed.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $75,000 – $100,000 (Depending on Experience)
