Quite a bit of our business is developing and implementing automated inbound and outbound surveys, polls and/or questionnaires. Our network of voice and data communications utilizes an OC-12, Sonet Ring Fiber Optics, channeled through our local access provider and various long distance, toll-free and internet carriers. We currently have T1 connections to AT&T, Global Crossing and Adelphia Communications. We also have data lines connected through two local providers for direct Internet access for our web servers. We use a variety of service connections to offer a choice to our clients as well as redundancy for our systems.

 Some of the features we have available to our clients are;

DNIS: (Dialed number identification service) - Ability to determine which telephone number(s) the caller has dialed.
ANI: (Automatic Number Identification) - Ability to determine what number the caller is dialing from (Caller ID).
SONET RING: Our fiber optics are "self-healing" for additional service assurance.
Redundant Equipment: Our computer network and voice servers are state-of-the-art industrial PC's with redundant, hot-swappable components for system stability and service assurance.
ANI Blocking: Ability to monitor and block abusive callers and excessive system users.
Call Management: Ability to monitor the number of times and frequency a particular caller dials our systems. Callers can be limited as to the number of times they are allowed to call per day, week, etc.
Text-to-speech: Ability to convert text from a database or outside source into voice files for callers to hear.
Dedicated Internet Access: Our network is connected directly to the Internet for real-time data reporting, file transfers and e-mail (sending and receiving)
Automatic Speech Recognition: Word and phrase recognition, spoken word menu navigation.
Transcription: We are staffed with a trained transcription department for typing and database entry of recorded voice files that need to be incorporated with your data (i.e. name, address, complaints, suggestions, etc.)
Live Customer Service: We can transfer your callers to live agents if option "0" is enabled or caller has a rotary phone.

 Web Based Surveys:

At SoluComp we spend much of our time focussed on keeping pace with the constantly changing computer hardware and software technologies. One of the more obvious progressions for us as a service bureau was the integration of our IVR applications with Internet/Database access. Some of our clients use our capabilities for real-time access to their call traffic reports and other application specific information while others have come to us specifically because we provide these services in addition to our IVR capabilities.

Our web survey capabilities go far beyond that of many service bureaus, if they even offer the capability. Not only are we able to present the survey participant with professional looking web surveys, but these surveys are built dynamically every time a visitor takes the survey. The survey questions, answer choices and layout are all database driven and can be changed on the fly, even while people are taking the survey. Once the survey is complete the information is automatically stored in a database. An email confirmation can be sent to the participant or to the survey customer, we can even generate charts and graphs at the end of each survey to show the participant how their answers stacked up against others.

We have developed web surveys for several of our customers. Our customers have been so pleased with our capabilities they asked for several new surveys for other departments.

Internet based surveys have become such a large part of our business we are developing several new web domains designed specifically for Web surveys. We are nearing completion on a "self-serve" site where you can build and preview your own survey.
